Andrea Oparnica

Chief Operating Officer

Andrea Oparnica serves as Chief Operating Officer of Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery. She is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, recruiting, training and general management of the company.

Andrea joined Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery in 1999. During her tenure she has held several key leadership positions in operations, including Director of Human Resources. She was instrumental in the early growth and marketing efforts of Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery. In 2019, Andrea was promoted to her current position.

Andrea studied Health Service Management at Broward College and currently participates in various executive leadership programs. Andrea currently lives in Kennesaw, Ga., with her husband and has two adult children.

Patricia Shartzer

Patricia Shartzer joined Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery in 2001 after spending several years as a patient. In 1997, she was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor in her jaw and spent the next 6 years undergoing reconstructive surgery under the care of some of AOFS’ best surgeons. If AOFS does it – she’s been through it.

Patricia started at AOFS handling insurance verification at the front desk and has grown up within the family to become the Director of Accounting. She is responsible for maintaining all of the company’s financial reporting and auditing, asset growth, and capital projects. Patricia also enjoys creating efficiency solutions and is training for her Green Belt in Six Sigma Management. In addition to her AOFS position, she also manages AOFS Management Group (AMG), an AOFS subsidiary company, which administers and advises multiple oral surgery practices across the country.

Outside of the office, Patricia is married to her love of a lifetime, Bruce, has several four-legged children, and enjoys the great outdoors. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration in Management from Kennesaw State University and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Nancy Hancock-Davidson

Chief Services Officer

Nancy Hancock-Davidson became the Chief Services Officer of Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery in 2019. She is in charge of the Central Service Department which is responsible for insurance billing, patient payments & financing options. Nancy negotiates all insurance payor contracts and maintains all physician credentialing.

She started her career as a certified oral surgery assistant in 1979. Over the years she transitioned to the business side of oral surgery. Nancy is knowledgeable in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Nancy is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Society of OMS Administrators and the Georgia Medical Group Management Association. Nancy is a Smyrna, GA native and lives there with her husband.

Cindy Chapman

Marketing Director

Cindy Chapman joined Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery in 2019 after a 17-year career with an Atlanta public relations agency. After studying journalism at Brigham Young University, Cindy worked as a newspaper reporter and editor in the Washington, D.C., area and later in metro-Detroit before moving to Atlanta and transitioning to public relations and marketing. She and the AOFS referral relations team focus on growing and strengthening relationships with our incredible referring dental offices and building awareness of the remarkable work done by our surgeons and staff. Cindy lives in Sugar Hill with her rescue dog and has two young adult children. Away from work, she enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Katrese Hill

Surgical Operations Manager

Katrese Hill began her tenure with Atlanta Oral Surgery in 1997 as a Surgical Assistant after moving to Georgia from her native Opelika, Alabama. After ten years as a Surgical Assistant, Katrese was promoted to Purchasing Manager. In that capacity, she provided oversight of the supply and equipment for the surgical department in the practice. Since that transition, she has thrived in operations. After only a few short years, Katrese found herself taking on increasingly advanced responsibilites. She was once again promoted, this time to Surgical Operations Manager, where she is tasked with overseeing all back office surgical related operations, from staffing to oversight of the entire surgical training department as well as the surgical supervisors.

In addition to ensuring company-wide compliance with OSHA certification, Katrese herself is certified in CPR and trained in IV Therapy Administration.

Interaction with staff is one of Katrese’s favorite aspects of her job. She regularly engages in office communication, encouraging an open and welcoming environment through the dissemination of various reading materials and through a wide variety of team building exercises. Katrese understands that a company is only as valuable as its strongest assets: its employees. Thus, she leads frequent continuing education seminars to promote leadership skill in a professional setting, and over the years she has organized several 5k runs with her staff in order to promote the overall health and wellness of all involved.

Katrese is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the Society of OMS Administrators.

In her free time, Katrese enjoys spending time with family and friends, entertaining, cooking healthy meals, and volunteering her time in local community efforts and outreach.

Robin Flick

Central Service Center Administration Supervisor

Robin Flick is a native of Bristol, Tn. Robin attended East Tennessee State University and has a background in banking. She moved to Atlanta, Ga in 1999 to pursue career opportunities and joined Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery in 2001, working the front desk at our Northside Office location. Robin moved to the corporate office in 2004 and is currently the Central Service Center Administration Supervisor. She is actively taking coding and billing classes to stay up to date with the ongoing changes with procedure codes and diagnosis codes, working toward her coding certification.

Outside of work, Robin loves to spend time family and friends, watch movies and read. Robin has a special love for chihuahuas and currently has a three year old chihuahua rescue, Gizmo. Robin’s dream is to one day have her own rescue group.

Gary Morris

Gary Morris

Network Administrator

Gary Morris grew up in Cranford, New Jersey. His undergraduate education was obtained at the University of South Florida where he studied Marine Biology, a lifelong passion. His other passion being Information Technology, led him to create his own computer service company that he managed for five years. In 2012, Gary joined the IT team at AOFS that provides support to all locations and strives to offer an innovative, organized tech environment to each staff member. He enjoys interacting with the amazing doctors and support staff on a daily basis.
