Biography
Dr. Aaron Stoker is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive experience across military, hospital, and civilian clinical settings. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, he grew up across the Midwest and Southeast before completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for academic excellence.
Dr. Stoker completed his rigorous oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg (now Fort Liberty) in North Carolina. A Major in the United States Army Dental Corps, he has delivered advanced surgical care at multiple Army medical facilities, including Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, Martin Army Community Hospital, and San Antonio Military Medical Center. His career includes high-acuity trauma experience, reconstructive procedures, anesthesia training, and recognition such as the Army Commendation Medal for exemplary service. In addition to his military commitments, he also serves patients in civilian practice, providing comprehensive oral surgery care with a strong focus on patient comfort, access to care, and high-quality outcomes.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Stoker remains committed to ongoing education, mentorship, and delivering exceptional care to every patient he treats.
Outside of surgery, Dr. Stoker is deeply devoted to his family—his wife and their three children are at the center of everything he does. He is active in his church community, loves to sing, and is always up for any activity his family suggests. He’s learning guitar (with a growing repertoire of blues riffs), enjoys playing sports, and is considering taking up running and swimming… with just a little more encouragement. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve his community and feels privileged to care for the people of Newnan and the greater Atlanta area.
