Dr. Khan grew up in Toronto, Canada. His undergraduate education began at the University of Toronto. He received his DMD degree from University of Kentucky School of Dentistry and received his Medical degree from University of Miami. His internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery was completed at the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He also served residency in general surgery at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.

      Dr. Khan has also received extensive training in facial cosmetic surgery from leaders in the facial plastic surgery and general plastic surgery specialties. He is also trained to perform microsurgical hair transplantation. His clinical interests also include trauma, orthognatic, and reconstructive surgery. He has presented articles at the regional and national level.

      Dr. Khan’s hobbies include fitness, health and nutrition. He has run several full marathons. He is married and lives in Dunwoody, Georgia. He and his wife have also become avid Atlanta Thrasher and Braves fans.
