Shahrokh C. Bagheri DMD, MD, FACS
Dr. Bagheri is the current Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northside Hospital of Atlanta, and serves as a clinical faculty at both the Medical College of Georgia and Emory University, where he is involved in resident education. He has published over 25 articles and multiple book chapters. He is the senior editor and co-author of 2 major textbooks of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery both which are popular texts for candidates preparing for the American Board.
He received his DMD from the Harvard University (cum laude), and MD form Emory Medical School. He obtained his fellowship training in Cranio-Maxillofacial Trauma and Cosmetic Surgery. His particular interests include facial cosmetic surgery, orthognathic, trauma, and reconstructive maxillofacial surgery. He is one of few oral surgeons in the south east that is also trained in microneurosurgical repair of peripheral trigeminal nerve injuries, and is a fellow of the American college of Surgeons (FACS).
